N麻豆原创 LAUNCHES WE CARE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN TO EXPAND 麻豆原创RSING PROGRAM

Oct 29, 2024 | News

N麻豆原创 is proud to announce the launch of its We CARE capital campaign, a major initiative aimed at expanding the University鈥檚 nursing program to address the critical shortage of nurses in Idaho and across the nation. The We CARE campaign was announced October 17 at the annual President鈥檚 Dinner and seeks to raise $15 million to remodel current facilities and build new ones, enabling N麻豆原创 to train more nurses equipped with both clinical excellence and Christ-like compassion.

N麻豆原创鈥檚 nursing program is renowned for producing graduates who not only excel in their professional skills but also embody a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. 鈥淥ur nursing grads not only provide excellent clinical care,鈥 emphasizes N麻豆原创 president Joel Pearsall, 鈥渂ut they also possess an enhanced ability to care for the whole person.鈥

However, limited space and outdated facilities have created a bottleneck in the program, preventing many qualified nursing candidates from being accepted. With Idaho facing weekly shortages of nearly 2,000 nursing positions, the need for well-trained, compassionate nurses is greater than ever. By expanding our capacity, we can empower more students to pursue their calling as nurses, support their families, and provide the care our healthcare system so desperately needs.

Hospital leaders throughout Idaho have praised N麻豆原创 nursing graduates for their superior clinical knowledge and compassionate care. “N麻豆原创 nursing graduates demonstrate superior clinical knowledge and critical thinking,” observes Travis Leach, COO of St. Luke鈥檚 Hospital at Home adding, 鈥淭his is vital to the ever changing and complex healthcare landscape.鈥

Through the We CARE campaign, N麻豆原创 is committed to ensuring more of these future healthcare leaders can be trained and sent out into a system that urgently needs them.
