At Northwest Nazarene University, the Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) 麻豆原创 Office is not just a place where applications are processed and decisions are made鈥攊t’s a vibrant hub of passionate individuals dedicated to guiding students on their educational journeys. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to the amazing team that makes it all happen!听
Lindsay Kuhl, Director of Graduate 麻豆原创听
Lindsay is no stranger to N麻豆原创. In fact, her roots run deep, having been a student here herself. A fun fact about Lindsay is that she started two long-standing campus traditions during her time as a student: “The Woman Is Required to Pay” (TWIRP) and the Brick, a frozen coffee drink that remains a favorite at student events. Lindsay finds joy in seeing these traditions still alive and well, knowing she played a part in their beginnings.听听
When asked about her favorite thing about working at N麻豆原创, Lindsay鈥檚 answer is simple yet profound: 鈥淚 love being part of a community that values relationships and supports one another. It鈥檚 truly special to be back here, contributing to the place that shaped so much of who I am.鈥听

Cheryl brings a grounded yet adventurous spirit to the team, shaped by her upbringing on a dairy farm in Jerome, ID. Whether she鈥檚 paddling her kayak on the weekends or contributing her steady dedication at N麻豆原创, Cheryl鈥檚 deep-rooted commitment to hard work and community is evident in everything she does.听
Cheryl鈥檚 favorite thing about working at N麻豆原创? 鈥淚 love my job and the people I work with.鈥 It鈥檚 her genuine appreciation for her colleagues that makes Cheryl such a cherished part of the team.听
Tammy finds joy in the outdoors, especially hiking, and also treasures time with a hot cup of coffee and a good book. She is a certified Enneagram Coach, and a self-proclaimed 鈥淓nneagram nerd鈥 in the middle of authoring her second book on the topic.
For Tammy, one of the best parts of her role at N麻豆原创 is the opportunity to collaborate with others and encourage growth. She says, 鈥淚 appreciate working alongside an amazing team and find it especially meaningful to support people as they take steps toward their goals.鈥
Chelsea is a two-time graduate of N麻豆原创 (BA & MA) and an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. She knows from firsthand experience what it takes to be a graduate student and working adult. Not only has Chelsea has been a youth pastor, campus pastor and lead pastor, but she has also been a barista at a local coffee shop. Chelsea loves a cup of coffee and baked goods any time of day! She is also a twin and loves sharing that fun fact with others.
When it comes to working at N麻豆原创, Chelsea鈥檚 greatest joy comes from the people鈥攂oth students and colleagues. She shares, 鈥淚 love who I work with and I am grateful to be part of such a supportive and enjoyable team. I especially enjoy working with those who care for spirit, mind, strength and heart.鈥
