N麻豆原创’s Bachelor of Arts in Social Work gives students the opportunity to gain experience outside the classroom by logging more than 500 internship hours. It prepares students to learn the strategies necessary to begin removing barriers to social functioning.

About Social Work

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Art in Social Work will have the opportunity to gain experience outside the classroom by logging more than 500 internship hours. Under the supervision of skilled professionals, you will gain experience and expertise in local social-service settings. Inside the classroom you will learn the strategies necessary to begin removing barriers to social functioning and improving others’ lives.

As a student pursuing a social work degree in the Department of Social Work at Northwest Nazarene University, you will be prepared to make a difference. You will learn how to relate your faith to your work, and discover how you can improve social conditions through caring, personal involvement, policy changes, and legislative initiatives.

After receiving your social work degree, you will be ready to pursue a master’s degree or enter the workforce. Our alumni are currently serving in positions as social workers, rehabilitation specialists, case managers, counselors, and more.
